You and I think alike because I’d love to see another remake of BREATHLESS. Yes, I can see Penelope Cruz as Monica, but I can’t see anyone other than Richard Gere as Jesse.
I was just thinking if I were a director I’d love to remake this movie. It could be updated and make his hero Prince or Han Solo or something more modern, but some one with depth, maybe a poet. I don’t know who could be better than Gere or sexier. Maybe Penelope Cruz as Monica? Who knows?

Hey, I have no problems with political correctness. I just think Will Smith isn’t all that sexy. I’m sure there are lots of sexy male actors of all colors who could play the role, but I don’t watch too many movies or keep up with what goes on in Hollywood, so I can’t offer any suggestions.

Are you crazy? Why do you think they’d put Will Smith in Richard Gere’s role? Because Will Smith does a new movie everytime we turn around? I don’t see how that’s possible. I think they’d choose someone sexier (though I can’t think of someone offhand), and even if the nudity were taken away (maybe, maybe not), the movie will still have its merits.

Isn’t that the truth? This movie never ceases to thrill me, and it should have gone on to be a big hit. Perhaps people like us can reintroduce this movie to the world by letting others know about it.
